    Description

This is an antique, orange amber strap sided whiskey flask that's blown in mold, dates to around 1870-1885, measuring 7-3/4" tall by 3-3/8" wide. Has a hand tooled, collared lip, a neck tooling mark or manufacturing flaw, and great color throughout the glass. Base is embossed with
    F2
, possibly indicating Lyndeboro Glass company in South Lyndeborough, New Hampshire, as shards of these flasks have been found at the site with and F, and also with an S on the base, specific to some glassblowers at Lyndeboro.
This early flask is in excellent condition with only the aforementioned neck tooling mark, otherwise fine.
